Job Summary
The Ice Cream Specialist at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for providing an exceptional Guest experience by preparing hand-dipped cones, shakes, and malts while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Key responsibilities include efficient operation of the Point of Sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the store, and following security protocols to minimize loss. This role requires effective communication, the ability to operate store equipment, and the physical capability to handle merchandise and maintain displays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old to work at United Dairy Farmers
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies in dip cabinets
- Ability to handle currency, checks, and make change
- Ability to recognize numbers and perform arithmetic for records
- Ability to move merchandise and maintain displays
- Ability to tolerate various temperature conditions
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and handle specific package weights
