Job Summary
The Ice Cream Specialist is responsible for providing outstanding service by making hand-dipped ice cream products, shakes, and food items for customers. Responsibilities include operating the point of sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining store security, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the store and equipment, and accurately completing time records. Essential skills include effective communication, ability to handle transactions, move merchandise, and tolerate various temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, and credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise and clean counters
- Ability to tolerate exposure to low temperatures and lift weights
