Job Summary
As an Ice Cream Specialist at United Dairy Farmers, you will provide outstanding service to guests by preparing hand-dipped ice cream items and maintaining an efficient store operation. Your responsibilities include handling cash transactions, stocking merchandise, ensuring store cleanliness and security, and accurately completing required records. Essential skills include effective communication, basic arithmetic, and the ability to operate store equipment. Candidates must be able to tolerate various temperatures and perform physical tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to move merchandise
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
