Job Summary
Greet customers, process orders, and operate the cash register while scooping ice cream and serving guests in a friendly manner. Take orders, offer samples, suggest allergen alternatives, and enter purchases into the point-of-sale terminal. Receive and facilitate to-go orders via phone or POS, then deliver orders to customers in person. Prepare the ice cream station, stock cases, and maintain cleanliness of the scooping area. Assist with bussing, wiping tables, mopping floors, and sanitizing trash. Perform weekly deep cleaning duties including defrosting and sanitizing coolers. Flexible schedule with weekend availability required. Valid Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission and Food Handler certifications needed.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 30 - 50 pounds.
- Flexible schedule with weekend availability.
- Team player who has the ability to follow instructions.
- Self-starter and can work with and without direct supervision.
- Reliable transportation.
- Closed-toe slip resistant shoes.
- Valid Food Handler's Certification.
- Valid Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission (TABC) Certification.
