Job Summary

Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance planning for production lines, including yearly, monthly, and weekly scheduling. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system failures, such as motors, switches, and PLC software, while recommending design improvements. Operate safely on the manufacturing floor to ensure production efficiency, protect product quality, and reduce waste. Support the technical team with spare parts planning, data analysis, and problem-solving to drive performance improvements and cost savings. Interpret and enforce safety rules, including HAZWOPER certification and emergency response protocols.

Required Qualifications

Must have the knowledge and technical skills to ensure effective support to the production line technical team
Must be flexible within pattern of shift work to accommodate factory shutdowns, training courses, etc., emergency cover and complete any work deemed necessary by the leadership team
Must be able to become HAZWOPER certified
Must be able to be an emergency response member
Must have knowledge of the EAP (Emergency Action Plan)
Currently in a maintenance role
Must have experience of working as part of an extended team within the manufacturing sector
Must have an Associate degree and/or technical certificate
Must have Business Awareness - Understanding of the need to meet changing demands and the role of marketing and product innovation in growing the business and increasing the company's share
Must have the ability to apply rigorous Cost Deployment and the Zero loss concept to eliminate losses utilizing UMS
Must have experience of manufacturing in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Company
Must have experience as a team member within a project Management team with an awareness of project management tools and technique
Must have two years manufacturing, mechanical or technical experience
Must have knowledge of structured text programming platforms
Must have knowledge of robotics and their control systems
Must have the ability to navigate and use web-based programs such as Buildapp, Weever, Megamation, DFOS and Smartcall
Must have strong coaching and communication skills
Must have proven analytical skills
