Job Summary
ICC Special Inspector – Tukwila, WA: Perform testing, project-specific observations, and inspection duties under general supervision. Operate, maintain and calibrate testing equipment, conduct soil and/or concrete testing, read and interpret plans/specifications, observe site activities, document data, and communicate results to clients and project teams. Requires 2 years of related inspection experience and ICC certifications; High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Relocation assistance provided. Excellent benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years’ related inspection experience
- ICC certifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record
- Ability to work off shifts and overtime
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound
- Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures
- Ability to climb occasionally, and work at various heights
