Job Summary
The Lenel OnGuard Systems Engineer will engage with an Enterprise Physical Access Control systems engineering team to manage large LenelS2 OnGuard Enterprise deployments. Responsibilities include engineering, configuring, and monitoring systems; troubleshooting issues; and maintaining knowledge of the latest security technologies. Key skills required encompass Lenel OnGuard Enterprise architecture, Microsoft SQL Server, and Windows Server administration. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and certifications, along with several years of experience in the field.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in IT, engineering, or related field
- 5 years of relevant work experience (or Masters degree and 3 years exp or PhD and zero)
- Lenel OnGuard Certified Expert
- At least one Microsoft Computing Environment Certification (MCP, MCTS, MCITP, MCPD, MCSA, or MCSE)
- Ability to maintain a US Government Clearance (current active Clearance is desirable)
- Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server 2016 or above
Desired Qualifications
- Lenel Data Exchange Scripting
- Creating and executing server scripts via PowerShell
- Microsoft WinRM Configuration
- Experience configuring NGINX
- Experience with supporting application in highly integrated environment
- Desire to ensure the optimal service offering
- Current active US Government Clearance
Additional Requirements
- Required travel up to 10% to support release update testing in lab at MSFC (Huntsville, AL)
