Job Summary

Indirect Channel Account Manager in Automotive Indirect channel is the key resource to execute Shell India's growth and market share ambitions. The role acts as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external customers, managing distributors and their customers, ensuring alignment to Shell’s goals, RTM strategies, and CVP/CVP-related practices. Responsibilities include end-to-end process management within the indirect channel distributor, achieving sales targets, marketing action plans, and operational KPIs; identifying growth opportunities through field visits; coordinating with Marketing to implement CVP, pricing, and brand campaigns; sharing monthly/quarterly KPI data, conducting field visits with DSR/DSS/DSM, and coaching distributors’ sales staff; developing and maintaining distributor relationships, ensuring data quality in SFA tools, and executing training and development initiatives. The role requires a graduate degree (technology or related) and around 5-6 years of experience in channel and key account management, with a techno-commercial mindset and strong financial understanding of distributor operations; travel and relocation readiness; and proficiency in English and Hindi.
