Job Summary
Lead communications and marketing strategy for the ICA Pittsburgh, developing an integrated approach aligned with the institution's mission and audience-development goals. Establish and maintain a distinctive institutional voice across all platforms while managing the communications calendar for exhibitions, programs, fundraising, and milestones. Produce editorial content, including website updates, artist profiles, and email newsletters, while overseeing digital archives and applying SEO best practices. Execute strategic marketing plans for exhibitions and public programs, producing promotional materials and coordinating distribution through digital and community channels. Manage media relations by writing press releases, responding to inquiries, and tracking coverage impact. Oversee brand stewardship, creative production, and vendor relationships to ensure visual consistency and quality control. Develop and manage the communications budget, analyzing performance data to refine strategy and allocate resources effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience
- Three to five years of communications, marketing, public relations, editorial, or audience-engagement experience
- preferably within a contemporary art organization, museum, gallery, cultural institution, university, or nonprofit
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
