Job Summary
Track performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives within assigned inventory control areas. Provide daily direction to associates and material handlers while coordinating workflow to meet operational requirements. Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and investigations, then assist with troubleshooting discrepancies and corrective actions. Train, coach, and mentor team members to ensure compliance with procedures, safety standards, and quality goals. Support material flow activities and cross-functional coordination to achieve departmental targets.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP and inventory management tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach and influence others without direct supervisory authority
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet operational deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
