Job Summary
The IC&E Technician maintains and repairs electrical equipment, instrumentation, and control systems within a power plant environment. You will monitor and troubleshoot Distributed Control Systems (DCS), gas and steam turbine control systems, generators, transformers, and switchgear; perform routine and complex troubleshooting; use CMMS for work planning and documentation; improve preventive maintenance programs to meet OEM and regulatory requirements; maintain logs, manuals, records, blueprints, and operating procedures; provide detailed written reports on control system conditions; follow safety and health policies; and serve as a technical resource providing on-the-job training in complex technical areas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or technical/vocational degree (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years in instrumentation, electrical, and control system applications
- Experience with chemistry, physics, electricity, and mathematics
- Proficiency in DCS programming and configuration
- Advanced certifications/licensures
- Valid state driver's license
