Job Summary
Maintain and repair electrical equipment, instrumentation, gas turbine, steam turbine control systems, and switchgear while monitoring the plant Distributed Control System (DCS). Perform routine troubleshooting, calibrate systems, and optimize the preventative maintenance program to meet OEM and regulatory requirements. Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to execute maintenance efficiently and provide written reports on control system conditions. Independently prioritize complex technical issues, resolve escalated problems, and regularly train others in specialized technical areas. Adhere strictly to safety policies and maintain accurate logs, manuals, and operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, degree from technical/vocational school or equivalent
- Senior-level; minimum of 5 years of experience in instrument/electrical and control system applications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an advanced understanding of chemistry, physics, electricity and mathematics
- Experience with DCS programming and configuration
- Advanced certifications/licensures
- Valid state driver's license
