Job Summary
The IC&E Technician III is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and instrumentation, monitoring the Distributed Control System (DCS), and working on gas turbine and steam turbine control systems. Candidates should have senior-level expertise with at least 5 years of experience in instrument/electrical and control system applications. Strong mechanical aptitude along with experience in DCS programming and configuration is required. The role includes optimizing preventative maintenance programs and providing on-the-job training to others.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, degree from technical/vocational school or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in instrument/electrical and control system applications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an advanced understanding of chemistry, physics, electricity and mathematics
- Valid state driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DCS programming and configuration
- Advanced certifications/licensures
