Job Summary
IC 5 Product Engineer role focusing on designing and leading scalable, customer-centric payment solutions; responsibilities include leading implementation, building automations with LLMs, evolving observability stack, planning roadmaps with teams, and mentoring engineers. Key skills and experiences: solid Java 17, Spring, microservices, databases (relational and non-relational), data-driven decision making, leadership and mentorship, web development with React/Angular, CI/CD, and familiarity with financial systems, payments, onboarding flows, and regulatory interactions. Strong emphasis on partnering with internal teams and external regulators to deliver impactful Wise product features.
