Job Summary
IBS and Tactical Terminal Support role supporting Air Force IBS data requirements, including development of inputs to CONOPs/CONEMPs/ISPs/CDDs for AF weapon systems, providing input to AFTT documentation (SOM, ILSPs, MOA), participating in ILS and program meetings, defining and communicating hardware/software requirements, coordinating funding and schedules for technology insertions and upgrades, ensuring shipment/return of COMSEC items, supporting software requirements and configuration management (CCB), and developing IBS training materials and plans scalable to a 2,000+ user base. The position emphasizes liaison with SPOs, depot, and joint user communities, and involves planning/programming documentation and unfunded requirements, within a core-hours schedule and potential compressed work options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, management or other related technical or scientific discipline.
- Active TS/SCI or at minimum Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
- Five (5) years’ minimum experience with Information Technology in Intelligence Community or similar systems.
- Three (3) years supporting data dissemination architectures, i.e. UHF, Alternate Over-The-Air (OTA) paths, SIPRNET, and JWICS.
- Three (3) years supporting IBS or similar inter-Service Interoperability; understand IBS architectures of other services and Five Eye collaborating nations to enable leveraging of existing capabilities to support AF, joint and coalition warfighters.
- Five (5) years’ minimum action officer experience.
- Three (3) years prior staff experience at Higher Headquarters (HHQ), e.g. MAJCOM, NAF, HAF or equivalent.
