Job Summary
Lead the evaluation and implementation of IBOR/OMS solutions (vendor, build, or hybrid) to deliver a real-time, consolidated view of positions and transactions across private markets; architect target-state IBOR, define functional requirements for OMS and trade messaging, and oversee integrations with fund administrators, custodians, and accounting/reporting platforms; collaborate with portfolio management, operations, fund administration, and technology to support capital calls, distributions, co-invest closings, and bespoke deal structures; bring hands-on leadership with experience across IBOR/OMS lifecycles, vendor management, and multi-currency workflows, and leverage AI/LLM-based tools to accelerate delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in investment technology with direct hands-on experience implementing or operating an IBOR, OMS, or comparable investment platform
- Deep functional understanding of investment book of record concepts: position keeping, transaction lifecycle, accounting events, corporate actions, and cash flow management
- Working knowledge of transaction messaging standards including SWIFT (MT/MX), FIX, or equivalent
- Strong vendor management experience — RFPs, contract negotiation, and managing implementation partners
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to engage front-office investment professionals, operations leaders, and senior technology stakeholders
- Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured platform requirements and delivery plans
- Hands-on experience with AI and AI-assisted development and agentic workflows, including use of LLM-based tools
- Direct private markets experience is a plus
