Job Summary
Design, develop, and deploy APIs using IBM API Connect; configure IBM DataPower Gateway; implement API security policies; develop RESTful and SOAP services; monitor and troubleshoot API performance; collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions; participate in system testing, deployment, and production support; ensure compliance with enterprise integration and security standards.
Required Qualifications
- Design, develop, and deploy APIs using IBM API Connect.
- Configure and manage IBM DataPower Gateway services.
- Implement API security policies, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Develop RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
- Participate in system testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise integration and security standards.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM API Connect.
- Strong experience with IBM DataPower Gateway.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, and XSLT.
- Knowledge of API security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and API Key authentication.
- Experience with API lifecycle management.
- Understanding of integration architecture and middleware concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Enterprise Integration projects.
- IBM certifications related to API Connect or DataPower.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
