Job Summary
Aerial Lift Trimmer in the Vienna/Marion/Carbondale, IL area performs tree trimming/removal near utility lines using a bucket truck or similar equipment. Responsibilities include following safety practices, preparing materials with the General Foreperson, performing professional tree maintenance, clearing debris, maintaining tools, working at heights, assisting crew members, safeguarding others from hazards, and performing storm-work duties as needed. Must demonstrate knot- and rope-based rigging knowledge, identify tree species, understand electrical hazards and procedures near conductors, wear PPE, and travel for storm restoration. Requires ability to obtain/maintain first-aid certification and CPR, and meet I-9 work authorization. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance and 401K. This is a full-time position with a union employer setup (IBEW 702) involving Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
- Must meet I-9 requirements

- Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR
