Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management system processes and procedures. Conduct internal audits and manage external certification audits to ensure ongoing IATF 16949 compliance. Lead problem-solving activities using core tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) to address non-conformances and customer complaints. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and launch to ensure quality requirements are met. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process optimization. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within an automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standards and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
- Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions using methodologies like 8D
- Experience with internal and external audits, including customer-specific requirements
