Job Summary
Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management systems and processes. Conduct internal audits and manage external certification audits to ensure adherence. Lead problem-solving activities using core tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC) to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Oversee APQP activities, including PPAP submissions and customer specific requirements, for new product launches and engineering changes. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process optimization. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and resolve supplier quality issues. Provide training and mentorship on IATF 16949 standards and quality tools to manufacturing personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise in IATF 16949 implementation and auditing
- Strong knowledge of core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions
