Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical field
- 3+ years experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standards and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
- Proven experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and root cause analysis
Desired Qualifications
- ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSBB)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
- Experience with AIAG core tools beyond basic application (e.g., advanced FMEA techniques, control plan optimization)
- Familiarity with specific manufacturing processes relevant to the company (e.g., stamping, injection molding, welding)
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for advanced data analysis and process capability studies
