Job Summary
Territory Manager for NTN’s Industrial Aftermarket covering most of Indiana (excluding northwest and southern Indiana). Manage NTN Authorized Distributor relationships and call on end-users to promote NTN products and drive value-added selling. Develop and execute branch sales plans, educate distributors and end users on NTN programs, identify new opportunities, and document opportunities in Salesforce. Collaborate with Applications Engineers, Field Engineers, Customer Relations Advocates, and Corporate Accounts to grow the distributor channel. Articulate NTN value propositions to plant and operations personnel and purchasing teams, use BI tools to analyze sales data, and maintain market presence through daily sales calls within the territory. Requires a bachelor’s degree (BSME preferred) and at least 5 years of customer sales experience; travel within the territory with about 50% overnights; proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. The role emphasizes selling within the Power and Transmission industrial space and building long-term distributor and end-user relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BSME preferred; required in some instances of related field experiences)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in customer sales interactions
- Industrial knowledge related to NTN servicing industries: Food & Beverage, Paper & Pulp, Steel, Packaging, Agriculture, Construction, Electric Motor
- Strong sales, territory management, project management and sales reporting capabilities
- Ability to travel daily within the territory with 50% overnights
