IAM Cloud Engineer

IAM Cloud Engineer responsible for leading design and implementation of a unified Microsoft Entra identity architecture, consolidating multiple tenants and legacy identity systems. Role involves assessing current cloud and identity environments, identifying gaps, and building scalable solutions across Azure and AWS; developing and enhancing Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code to automate provisioning; troubleshooting complex cloud, networking, and identity-related issues; collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, approve, and implement cloud/IAM solutions; and leveraging AI tools to accelerate development, automation, and problem-solving to improve speed and quality of delivery. The position is contract-to-hire with eligible states including DC, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, and VA, with hybrid/remote-first work arrangement. The role requires proven experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) in tenant consolidation or large-scale IAM transformations, strong Azure (primary) and AWS (networking fundamentals), and a hybrid builder mindset balancing architecture with hands-on execution; candidates should have demonstrated use of AI tools in engineering workflows.
