Job Summary
IaC Automation Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure solutions using modern IaC practices and tools. Develop Infrastructure-as-Code templates and scripts with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation; automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure resources; develop SDK and REST API using Python; collaborate with cross-functional teams as a technical advisor to align infrastructure design with business goals; create comprehensive architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and guidelines to document interdependencies; require strong collaboration with stakeholders to design scalable and secure infrastructure solutions. Experience needed includes 6+ years in infrastructure engineering with IaC focus, 4+ years in solution architecture, 2+ years with IaC tools, and experience with AWS (preferred) or other cloud platforms; Kubernetes experience and IDP deployment with Kratix/Cortex is a plus; excellent documentation and communication skills, proactive ownership, and ability to drive projects to completion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related roles with a focus on IaC and API development
- 4+ years of experience in solution architecture
- 2+ years of experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Python
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Kubernetes and deployment of IDP using Kratix and Cortex is a plus
