Job Summary
Develop and enhance automation solutions for a large-scale Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform built on VMware technologies using Ansible and Python. Build Infrastructure as Code and configuration management solutions to improve platform reliability, efficiency, and scalability. Work closely with operations and engineering teams to monitor, optimize, and automate operational activities within a DevOps environment. Analyze workflows to automate repetitive tasks and contribute to the continuous evolution of infrastructure services using tools like vRealize Suite, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of hands-on experience with Ansible, including maintaining and developing roles and collections
- Strong Python skills and experience developing automation solutions in alignment with CI/CD practices, Git, and infrastructure automation
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud Director
- Experience managing operating systems (RHEL/Windows) and DNS services
- Experience in monitoring technologies such as vRealize Suite, Prometheus, Grafana, and Logstash
- Experience analysing operational workflows and automating repetitive tasks
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
