Job Summary
Conduct echocardiography imaging and patient assessments at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center, adhering to accredited registry standards such as RCS or RDCS. Perform daily diagnostic procedures across a 70-hour pay period structured as four 10-hour shifts one week followed by three 10-hour shifts the next, with hours running from 0700 to 1730. Maintain mandatory reporter status and rotate through on-call duty every third week, covering Thursday through Wednesday including weekends. Requires graduation from an accredited Ultrasound/Echocardiography Program or equivalent clinical training.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound/Echocardiography Program
- appropriate training and clinical experience to provide equivalent technical skills
- Registry required from one of the accredited organizations below: RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Registry required from one of the accredited organizations below: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographics
- BLS certification
- Mandatory Reporter certification
