Job Summary
Lead design layouts, frameworks, and presentations for multifamily residential projects, guiding space layouts that maximize functionality while adhering to code and accessibility standards. Direct material selection, FF&E specifications, and consultant coordination to translate client goals into executable solutions. Mentor intermediate and junior designers, manage submittals, respond to RFIs, and conduct site visits to oversee construction administration. Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure design intent aligns with project timelines and budget constraints.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in an interior design firm
- At least 4+ years supporting large-scale multifamily residential, adaptive reuse, and hospitality projects
- Strong understanding of design principles, aesthetics, and industry-relevant technical knowledge
- Ability to balance creative intent and technical execution
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset
- Advanced use of Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino, AutoCAD, and in a BIM environment
- Advanced in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for professional grade production in presentations and graphics
- Graphic design skills with advanced Enscape rendering experience
- Experience with collaborative tools such as Miro and other online whiteboarding platforms
