Job Summary
Independently install, configure, operate, and maintain company infrastructure including Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, and cloud environments. Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose infrastructure problems using logs and monitoring data, and escalate unresolved incidents with relevant findings. Develop and maintain technical documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures while applying a security-first approach to all work. Execute assigned infrastructure projects, implement automation scripts, and collaborate with vendors to coordinate support and resolve service issues.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of professional experience administering, supporting, and maintaining production technology infrastructure and business critical systems
- Experience supporting a broad combination of infrastructure technologies, such as Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft SQL Server, web/application servers, firewalls, networking, load balancers, virtualization, identity services, cloud infrastructure, and related enterprise technologies
- Ability to independently investigate and resolve infrastructure issues using logs, monitoring data, documentation, and systematic troubleshooting methods, and to escalate unresolved issues with relevant findings
- Working knowledge of core infrastructure concepts, including networking, DNS, operating systems, identity and authentication, certificates, security, virtualization or cloud infrastructure, storage, backup and recovery, and application hosting fundamentals
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and working within established security, change management, and operational procedures
- PowerShell, Bash, Python, or comparable scripting and automation technologies
- Docker, Kubernetes and container technologies
- Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines
- Microsoft Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
- Infrastructure monitoring and observability platforms
- Backup and disaster recovery technologies
- Must be a CURRENT Texas or Louisiana resident at time of application and hire in
- Must have a valid Driver's License and Social Security Card
- Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check, prior to hire in
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant industry certifications or equivalent practical experience
- Network security and firewall administration
- Master's degree preferred
