Job Summary
I&E Technician needed for Midland/Odessa facility. Field-based role requiring outdoor work in all weather. Responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining automation equipment; reading schematics and manufacturer specs to disassemble/reassemble equipment; troubleshooting PLC/HMI files; calibrating and servicing field instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, level, analytical devices) and actuated valves; providing supervision to contract crews when required; coordinating with departments on projects and training users on new automation equipment at locations as needed. Requires 2+ years of experience in I&E, Electrical, PLC, knowledge of oil-field safety, and the ability to work with 120-480VAC and 12-24VDC systems. Travel locally with a company truck; valid driver’s license and clean driving record; drug screen at start; opportunity for growth and full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience (I&E, Electrical, PLC)
- Strong knowledge of electronic instrumentation and automation equipment
- Strong knowledge of oil field safety and organizational processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication and computer skills
- Instrumentation Experience: Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level and Actuated valves
- Moderate electrical skills: 120-480VAC, 12-24VDC
