Job Summary
I/E Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, instrumentation, and process control equipment in an industrial plant, including PLCs, motors, drives, and power distribution systems. Responsibilities include applying Clariant Life Saving Rules, on-call night shift and weekend coverage, using CMMS and basic computer systems, lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders, performing calibration and diagnostics on instrumentation and control systems, and ensuring safe, efficient operation with proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement. Requires knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, electrical distribution, test instruments, and detailed process instrumentation/controls experience. Education required: High School Diploma or GED or 2-Year Technical Degree; 5 years IE experience or 2-year technical degree with 3 years IE experience.
