Job Summary
The I&E Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing plant equipment. Essential duties include maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, PLCs, and instrumentation. The technician performs preventative maintenance and assists in developing procedures while using specialized tools and equipment. A high school diploma with relevant experience or a degree in a related field is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 5 years experience in electrical instrumentation
- 3 years relevant experience in industrial facility
Desired Qualifications
- ISA Certification Level III preferred
- Formal training in specialized subjects
- Experience in chemical or petrochemical plant
Additional Requirements
- Must pass 10-panel controlled substance test
- Must pass background investigation
- Eligibility in accordance with TSA TWIC requirements
