Job Summary
Deliver reactive and planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, and commissioning of electrical systems for industrial power and automation customers. Interpret complex engineering drawings to diagnose and resolve issues with variable speed drives and PC/PLC equipment across diverse sites. Manage end-to-end repair activities, providing remote and on-site support while preparing detailed risk assessments and professional site reports. Collaborate with internal teams to identify service growth opportunities and update technical documentation to ensure accurate records. Support 24/7 service requirements and demonstrate flexibility for holidays, weekends, and overtime as field assignments demand.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to interpret complex electronic and electrical engineering drawings and circuit diagrams
- The capability to diagnose and resolve issues with variable speed drives and PC/PLC equipment
- An understanding of EHS legislations and commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards on-site
- An expertise in electrical or power electronics engineering, gained through practical experience or formal training
- A formal education or a recognized engineering apprenticeship in an electrical or power electronics discipline
- Able to travel extensively to and from projects and various field assignments
- Willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments
- Ability to spend considerable time away from home for training and field assignments
