Job Summary
Observe and assist with medication counts and pours, ensure client appointments are scheduled, and assist in charting client medical information. Provide medication and wellness patient education to individuals with developmental disabilities in our Community Residence and Day Habilitation programs. Participate in daily IDD Nursing huddles and weekly supervision while working flexible Monday-Friday hours. Submit a cover letter detailing your school, degree program, and internship requirements to be considered for this unpaid associate level nursing student internship.
Required Qualifications
- enrolled in a degree program that will grant them credit hours for their internship
- associate level nursing student
- Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for moderate-periods of time
- Able to work in open space floor plan
- Must be capable to move throughout work day and follow individuals
- Work alongside individuals within 3 feet
- Occasional lifting of > _15+ pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in nursing is a plus
