Job Summary
Conduct complex non-standard engineering assignments involving design, development, analysis, and field task execution for I&C systems. Independently review work products, risk assessments, and failure mode analyses while proposing solutions and adhering to government and industry standards. Develop qualification plans, test specifications, and functional test procedures to ensure compliance with qualified configurations. Execute special projects and collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and deliver value-added technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria
- Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment
- Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Displays leadership characteristics
- Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking
- Advanced level of specific software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills
