Job Summary
Greet customers professionally, identify and confirm repair needs through multi-point inspections, and communicate costs clearly. Conduct vehicle walk-arounds to document dents and scratches, obtain signed condition reports and repair orders, and explain the multi-point inspection process. Provide accurate upfront estimates, secure approval for additional services, and return completed orders to technicians for immediate work. Track repair status, follow up with customers during service, and process payments while delivering vehicles. Maintain an effective labor rate of 85% of the door rate and achieve a Customer Satisfaction Index at the region or above.
Required Qualifications
- Communication skills – communicates effectively with others.
- Time management – managing one's own time and the time of others.
- Typing – the ability to type efficiently to enter repair orders.
- Mathematics – calculating service costs and counting change.
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license
