Job Summary
Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks prior to operations. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities are ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider. Requires successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within six months of hire and a current Georgia license or certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, Practical Nurse, or Emergency Medical Technician. Minimum two years healthcare experience and BLS certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Training in one of the following medical professions: Respiratory Therapy, Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technology
- Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in healthcare
- BLS Certification
- Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas: Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Hyperbaric Technologist, Other CHT qualifying certification
