Job Summary
Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider. Provide daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities are ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider. Requires high school graduation, two years of healthcare experience, and current licensure as a respiratory therapist, practical nurse, or emergency medical technician. Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within six months of hire is mandatory. BLS certification is required. This role supports Piedmont Rockdale Hospital's 24-hour emergency and diagnostic services in Conyers.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Training in one of the following medical professions: Respiratory Therapy, Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technology
- Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in healthcare
- BLS Certification
- Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas: Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Hyperbaric Technologist, Other CHT qualifying certification
