Job Summary

Manage day-to-day operations for wound, skin, ostomy, and hyperbaric care across multiple inpatient and outpatient locations, ensuring quality patient care and compliance with federal, state, and regulatory bodies. Develop and execute budgetary and financial objectives, submit operating and capital budget requests, and lead quality improvement initiatives to improve departmental performance. Collaborate with provider leadership and shared service teams to implement strategies, manage human resources including hiring and staff development, and resolve customer service concerns. Maintain caregiver competency through training and documentation while fostering a culture of safe, effective, and compassionate care. This leadership role supports Intermountain Health's multi-disciplinary teams in delivering high-value specialty care.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or leadership equivalent experience
  • Experience in budget management
  • Ability to develop strong team dynamics in customer-based environments

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in medical field or healthcare administration obtained through an accredited institution
  • Able to work in a compressed gas environment
  • Current clinical license or compact license with the ability to obtain license to work in the state of employment (if applicable)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers (if applicable)
  • Experience working in wound care, ostomy, and hyperbaric medicine
