Job Summary
Perform licensed hygiene procedures including adult and child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride. Consistently educate patients on treatment and care while maintaining accurate patient records. Partner with the administrative team on scheduling appointments and build strong lasting relationships with patients. Ensure all annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control trainings are completed as required by law. This full-time opening requires a current state license and strong communication skills to embrace preventative-centered care within a doctor-owned, doctor-led practice focused on high-level patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license to practice dental hygiene
- The confidence and ability to educate patients on their unique oral health needs and desires
- Strong communication skills
- A desire to embrace preventative centered care
- The ability to perform all hygiene clinical procedures, including (but not limited to) adult and child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride
- Hygienists are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control trainings as required by law
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
