Job Summary
Perform licensed hygiene procedures including adult and child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride while consistently educating patients on treatment and care. Maintain accurate patient records and partner with the administrative team on scheduling appointments to support office success. Hold a current state license and demonstrate strong communication skills to build lasting relationships with patients. Complete annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control trainings as required by law. This full-time role is part of a doctor-owned, doctor-led practice focused on preventative-centered oral health care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license to practice dental hygiene
- The confidence and ability to educate patients on their unique oral health needs and desires
- Strong communication skills
- A desire to embrace preventative centered care
- The ability to perform all hygiene clinical procedures, including (but not limited to) adult and child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
