Job Summary
Conduct daily dental hygiene services including cleaning teeth, removing subgingival deposits, and applying fluoride agents. Assess conditions such as gingivitis and periodontitis, chart diagnoses, and assist dentists with treatment planning. Present treatment options, educate patients on oral health maintenance, and take x-rays while maintaining accurate patient records. Build rapport with patients, communicate effectively, and participate in daily and weekly team huddles. Work Saturdays from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at DOCS Dental, serving families of military personnel in a family-oriented environment with cutting-edge technology.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license
- 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
- X-ray certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Extensive HIPAA knowledge
- Real ID
- Background check (including criminal record check)
- Drug screening
- E-Verify
