Job Summary
Review and update dental x-rays and chart notes while maintaining equipment and ensuring OSHA/HIPAA compliance. Record detailed narratives and probing depths for claims, then successfully complete scaling, root planning, and prophylaxis. Excel with placing fluoride varnish and sealants while sterilizing and maintaining dental supplies. Serve as a point of escalation for patient and team relations to maintain a safe environment. Discuss oral health hygiene relating to the mouth-body connection with patients. Requires a valid state license, CPR certification, and experience with Curve Dental Software. Part-time schedule of two days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to empathize and provide top-notch, positive, patient care while connecting with our diverse patient base
- A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program
- Valid state license
- CPR certification
- Current Certification from an accredited Hygiene Program
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in local anesthesia administration
