Job Summary
Registered Dental Hygienist position in Marietta, GA. Responsibilities include providing dental hygiene services, creating periodontal treatment plans, assessing teeth and periodontal tissues, performing prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, placing locally administered antibiotics as adjuncts, radiographic imaging, and in-office whitening. Includes patient education on oral health and home care, treatment planning based on dentist's diagnosis, and adherence to radiological and infection-control protocols. Must be licensed in Florida with an Associates or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene; BLS/CPR certification; ability to work as part of the dental team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the state of Florida
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certificate
- Willing to partner with the dentist and work well as a member of the total dental team
