Job Summary
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Ocala, FL performs hygiene services and periodontal/dental care, develops periodontal treatment plans, conducts assessments, removes deposits and stains, conducts radiographs, provides in-office whitening, applies fluoride and sealants, educates patients on oral health, and supports treatment planning with the dentist. Requires Florida licensure, either an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, and BLS/CPR certification. Must be a collaborative team member with strong manual dexterity and attention to radiographic procedures and infection control.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the state of Florida
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certificate
- Willing to partner with the dentist and work well as a member of the total dental team
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity to work with dental instruments
