Job Summary
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Tallahassee, FL (part-time) providing dental hygiene services under dentist supervision. Duties include assessing teeth and periodontal tissues, creating periodontal treatment plans, performing prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, placing locally administered antibiotics as needed, radiographic film/sensors positioning, in-office whitening, and patient education. Must maintain Florida license, hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, and have current BLS/CPR. Must work well within the dental team and adhere to infection control and radiologic protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the state of Florida.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
- Must be willing to partner with the dentist and work well as a member of the total dental team.
