Job Summary
Oversee cleaning and sanitation operations across hotel areas (guest rooms, public spaces, kitchens, and back-of-house). Develop and monitor hygiene protocols and cleaning schedules in line with health and safety regulations and hotel standards. Train and mentor housekeeping staff; conduct regular inspections and audits; manage inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies; collaborate with hotel departments to ensure a safe, clean guest environment; address guest feedback promptly and ensure compliance with local health regulations and safety standards. Requires leadership capabilities, attention to detail, strong communication, and flexibility to work shifts including weekends/holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hygiene Supervisor or similar role in a 5-Star luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, cleaning techniques, and health and safety regulations.
- Leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards consistently.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays as per hotel requirements.
