Job Summary
Hydrovac Operator responsible for hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching, and exposing utilities. Operate Hydrovac trucks safely, supervise Hydrovac Laborers, set up grounding/bonding procedures, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and complete required paperwork. Must have knowledge of underground utilities, proficient and safe operation of heavy equipment, strong teamwork and communication, mechanical aptitude, print reading/mapping, ability to work in confined spaces, willingness to learn additional skills, and hold a Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker endorsements; background checks and drug screen required.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement (required)
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License within two weeks of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training
- Background checks and pre-employment drug screen
