Job Summary
Hydrovac Operator responsible for operating hydrovac trucks to perform hydro excavation, exposing underground utilities safely, and supervising Hydrovac Laborers. Duties include setting up and inspecting grounding/bonding procedures, completing pre/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance, performing potholing and trench work, and handling required paperwork. Must have Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement, plus strong knowledge of underground utilities, heavy equipment operation, safety protocols, and the ability to work in confined spaces; strong teamwork and mapping/print-reading skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement is required
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training
