Job Summary
Deliver hydrographic survey projects from planning through to final deliverables, undertaking bathymetric, geophysical, and inspection surveys using multibeam sonar systems like Norbit and R2Sonic. Operate equipment for data acquisition, processing, interpretation, and quality assurance, while supporting marine geophysical surveys, mobile laser scanning, UAV, and remotely operated vehicle operations. Process survey outputs using industry-standard software and maintain operational readiness by managing equipment and contributing to workflow development and technical improvements. Support project planning, reporting, and client deliverables while assisting in the ongoing development of survey methodologies and business capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or higher degree qualification in Hydrographic Surveying, Marine Geophysics or a related geoscience discipline
- Full UK driving licence
- Working knowledge of coordinate systems and geospatial data management
- Experience with GIS and CAD platforms
