Job Summary
Compile and assess regional geological and hydrogeological data, including mapping aquifers, associated geological units, and the hydraulic head of regional artesian aquifers. Work closely with Area Hydrogeologists to apply academic experience to projects within Thermal or Conventional areas, developing skills in reporting and presentation. Receive on-the-job training supplemented by mapping software training, seminars, and short courses. This four-month work term starting May 2027 in Calgary offers hands-on experience to enhance your career in petroleum geology and physical hydrogeology.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a master's or bachelor's degree program in Geology, with a specialization in Hydrogeology
- Recent new graduates of an accredited institution
- Physically and mentally fit for work
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
